Kingsley Mamafa
Kingsley Mamafa is a limpopo born aspiring movie producer who grew up in a drug oriented environment with a dream to produce films to educate young people about the dangers associated with substance abuse.Together with his brothers, Lesley ,Stanley and Wesley, they formed Ley bros pìctures with the aim to produce South African stories that will show courage and resilience to overcome any challenging situations. In 2021 he took it upon himself to produce his first film about the abuse and dangers of smoking glue and substance abuse at large. Through collaboration with IPELEGENG, VUT FM ,EMFULENI MUNICIPALITY AND TYM, he produced a film to aid education and reduce the use of substances around the Vaal.

Shane Popi
Shane started films in 2009. He joined Bigfish school of digital filmmaking in 2012 where he shot most of his films with legendary late Nyembezi Kunene, Babsy Semela, David Lebotha etc… He has participated in film festivals and the Emfuleni Film Marathon. He is passionate about creating life-changing stories via visuals.

Sambuti Sekhonyane
Sambuti Sekhonyane has been in the film and arts industry for over 10 years. He fell in love with being behind the lens when completing his final year of Fine Arts in the Vaal University of Technology. He also studied photography at Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg and has worked on various shows such as Nyan’ nyan, Speak Out, My First on SABC 1, Roxic, Have Faith and the list go on. He is interested in youth development and seeing the Vaal becoming a well recognised place when it comes to the arts.

Bobby Mokhema
Bobby has been funded twice by GFC (Internal Affair 2009 and Ke Mo Fumane 2009) and thrice by NFVF (Victim #14 -Documentary Development 2006, When The Son Sets – Short Development and Production 2017 and Calling – Feature Development 2019).
Through StreTalk Productions, he started a project called Class Action. This project focuses on township high school learners whom we train in the basics of filmmaking, screenwriting, producing and directing. Our learners have already written and produced their short films during school holidays in June 2018 and 2019. The project is meant to teach learners skills of writing/producing/directing micro-budget films so they can be skilled to work with minimum resources.

A self taught photographer, graphic designer, video editor, music video director and an aspiring filmmaker, working as the visual guy behind the creative group known as “THE ARK”.
Known for making low budget work for local creatives and being able to create controversial videos using minimal camera equipment. Has worked with the likes of Traffix, Siya Radebe, Junior Pink, TerryKombz, Toss, Vaal Corruption and Quinton Bux on various projects that required a visual style matching each of their personal aesthetic.

Thabang is a Producer, Exhibitor, has produced a number of documentaries and ran the Vaal movie nights. He owned and managed Movie house theaters in vanderbijlpark from 2010-2015. He is passionate about developing cinema and film production in the Emfuleni area.
