The stockvel involved 5 independent theatre producers who formed a marketing network to share and maximize resources amongst themselves. The Stockvel took place over 3 months, from 8 October to 10 December 2022.

The Mysterious Takeover
The dangers of the world mostly lie in the hands of criminals. Some bring these dangers into their homes. This wife and mother do no less, abusing her husband and daughter. With the many different criminal acts under her belt, enemies were lurking in the darkness. Even in the light of her death, the killer was unknown. Who killed her? it could be her replacement.

The Pen
The Pen tells a story of a young playwright Sipho, in the throes of writing a new play. Beset by writers block, the writer is lured into a seductive journey with his Muse, Thandi. The boundaries between fantasy and reality become blurred as he begins to live in an increasingly illusionary world dominated by his sexy, assertive writing goddess. His girlfriend Pinky is innocently drawn into passionate internal world. Soon starts to suffer as she comes to understand the depths of Sipho’s passion for Thandi.

Kganyapa, the supernatural water snake, has lost its egg. Motlalepula, a little girl, with the gift of restoring dignity, between humans and water creatures, leads the search to find Kganyapa’s stolen egg. The missing egg has caused floods and keeps Motlalepula’s brother Thabiso, under the waters. Will Motlalepula be able to restore the peace?
